Implant Process using iDent's Scan2Guide Surgical Guide
Dental implants are an effective and lasting alternative to missing teeth, dentures and bridgework. They are actually more tooth-saving than traditional bridgework, since implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support.
The process of placing an implant is a team effort between the patient, the general dentist and the periodontist. When the decision is made to start the implant treatment plan, Dr. Baker and the general dentist will consult to determine where and how the implant should be placed. Depending on the patients specific condition and the type of implant chosen, a treatment plan will be created to meet patients needs.
